It’s a lovely place, or it was, but now it feels almost dead. Getting there means crossing a whole golf course, so make sure your car can handle rough terrain or you’ll have to walk the whole way. Let the owner or staff know you’re coming, or you may find the restaurant closed and end up hungry. The rooms, beds, and pillows are old. Thanks to the kind couple who fed us during our overnight stay. It was an experience.

This used to be a peaceful place for visitors. I can’t give it less than three stars because the staff were very accommodating when we cancelled our reservation here last year. They told us it had been for sale for a long time, even before typhoon Yolando hit the area, and it needs new management. It still takes day-use guests, but bring your own food and don’t count on the pool.

All we found by the sea was a run-down, neglected place. It’s advertised as a golf and scuba resort, but there’s no scuba and virtually no golf course. The road is dangerous, 3.5k from the main highway, and I wouldn’t try it without a car. Actually, I wouldn’t recommend trying it even then. The beach was the only good thing we found. The staff are lovely and I felt sorry for them. The food was reasonable quality, but pricey, and the cost of the resort isn’t justified. The pool was filthy and unfiltered, and everything needs renovation. Such a shame, because it could have been an amazing secluded getaway. The resort should be removed from booking sites for false advertising. Wouldn’t let me post with no stars 😂😂

The drive to the resort was the worst part. It took us 45 minutes longer from the highway to find it, and after getting through that difficult road I hoped the place would make it worthwhile. Instead, it was disgusting. I’d booked online because the pictures looked great, but I cancelled when I arrived and lost the cost of one night. I don’t regret paying the cancellation fee. I couldn’t have stayed in a room that stank, in a building that needs repainting or renovation soon. I didn’t see any other guests, maybe people made the right call not to drive out there. The beachfront was the one good thing: white sand and clear water. I told the receptionist I appreciated that. If you’re up for a challenging drive, maybe this is the place for you. I hope the management or owner can find a more convenient way to get to the hotel.

The rooms are huge, and the restrooms are better than at other resorts. There’s plenty of space, including an area to play volleyball and a spot for cooking, though you need to bring your own utensils. Globe Tower is nearby, so internet is available. The shore is clean and the sea is lovely. I even wanted to live there, hehehe. It’s a must-visit beach resort, but don’t swim in the pool because it isn’t cleaned properly. You’ll love the sea instead.
