Don't book through Agoda or other booking apps. The online rate was 1500 per night, and the hotel wouldn't let us check in unless that pricing was followed. We thought we'd gotten a discount, but ended up paying extra to cover the missing amount.

We eventually got into a room that smelled weird, but it was decent enough for a few hours. I'd rate cleanliness 7/10. It's definitely budget friendly, though if you know the streets of Tacloban, you can find better. Overall, it was okay but could be better, 7/10. If you're coming from far away and booked online, let them know your arrival time ahead of time, especially if you'll arrive in the wee hours. The front desk wasn't available when we checked in, and we waited at least 30 minutes. We managed to call the number printed on the hotel van parked in the building, and a clerk from another branch answered. A few moments later we heard a phone ringing nearby and found the front desk worker's phone plugged in by the table where we were waiting. We figured the person was close because the phone was charging there.

Bad and hopeless. They couldn't even call a taxi for guests. Very basic and not helpful.

The floor and bathroom were very dirty, and the place smelled awful. Don't book here, the owner has a bad attitude 👎🏻.
