The hotel is across from a mall and restaurants, with a classy, spacious, open entrance. The greeters, workers, reps, and servers were polite as usual for Filipinos, and check-in was easy. We had a deluxe king room on the fifth floor for more than 6k pesos/night. It was spacious, with a clean, well-made, firm bed, a fridge, and clear international TV channels where we could watch the news. From the window we saw rooftops, and farther off the airport tower and greenery. We arrived late in the afternoon and stayed the night, but the room and bathroom were a letdown. The old floor tiles were dirty, so I wouldn't walk barefoot, though they provided slippers. Bathroom tiles were cracked, moldy, and dirty; the sink was stained and looked unclean, and there were glass marks on the counter. I took pictures and would gladly post them if management asks. There were no hand towels or washcloths, so I had to ask at check-in and mention the room problems. Shout-out to the rep at the counter who at least thanked me for reporting them. Some breakfast items tasted old or not fresh. When I asked for tea options, I was handed a dusty basket of tea bags with a cockroach in it. Management should do daily, weekly, and monthly quality checks for upkeep and cleanliness, including the bedrooms and breakfast area, and address cracked, moldy tiles coming off the walls and stained floor tiles. The poor maintenance and lack of quality checks are obvious. We won't return or recommend it.

I love Summit so much and don't understand why people dislike the hotel. The staff were kind, the rooms were clean and smelled good, and the food was good too. The AC was okay once we spoke to the reps about fixing it, and they did. I'd happily stay again, and wish I could give it 10/10.

Robinsons Mall is right across the street, so the location is really convenient, and the food was above average. I stayed one night with my girlfriend before my flight. The front desk was extremely slow: with only one person ahead of us, we waited about 30 minutes for help, and that happened twice. Our room felt very outdated and wasn't cleaned properly. There were no towels, so I had to stop a staff member in the hallway to get some. There's free filtered water on every floor. The location is great, but the rooms and service need serious improvement.

The staff were helpful and friendly, and the hotel can arrange transport for tours or getting around town. It's beside the area's biggest mall, a major plus, and a Catholic church is within walking distance. The location is between the airport and town center. Our room was clean and spacious, but there was an unpleasant smell coming from the toilet drain. Breakfast was nice and cost about $20.

Our stay was great and worth it. The service was kind and warm, and the rooms were really nice. Summit Hotel has a beautiful lobby and rooms, plus a cafe. I'd recommend it for families or groups, and hope everyone is blessed. Thank you, Summit Hotel.
