Vista Real Hotel

Check-in was quick and easy, and we also got to use the massage room, though the service was provided by the salon renting space in the hotel. I really liked that salon too, even if it was a bit pricey. The pool has a nice lake view, and there’s an activity room by it with darts and billiards. The hotel is right beside McDonald's, which is handy. We paid 5k ++ for a room with two queen beds. It was okay, with a balcony facing the lake, but there were no dividers, so other guests could pass through. The old, unattractive balcony table and chairs could use replacing. We could hear loud music from the lobby until 10pm because we booked while their restaurant was opening. There’s just one restaurant, Mr. Kimchi, serving unli samgeupsal, with a good view from the al fresco area.

The rooms were clean, but the walls are thin enough that you can hear people chatting outside, and they may hear you too. The infinity pool looks out over Tagaytay Lake, though McDonald's customers can look down on you while you swim :D

The view of Taal Lake is good. The hotel's small pool, though, isn't really suitable for swimming.
