Golden Palace Hotel

The food and location were good, but the room needs work. It wasn't very clean, the curtains need replacing, and the walls need repainting and a thorough cleaning. The cable signal was also unreliable.

We were there for mission work, not a pleasure trip. The hotel gave us a place to sleep and eat after our assignments, and there was a conference area for church services. The people were kind, welcoming, and hospitable. Their needs matter more than comfort. We're extremely blessed in America and have so much. Serving the people of the Philippines was a pleasure and an amazing experience.

A good place to unwind, and worth the money. The rooms were clean, WiFi was free and accessible throughout the hotel, and there was a phone in the room to call the front desk or Cafe about services or concerns. Breakfast was included and exceeded my expectations. 10/10.

The staff were friendly and attentive, which made it a shame that the room had so many problems. The air conditioner barely cooled it, and there wasn't even a window to open. The TV signal kept cutting in and out. The bathroom had only cold shower water, the toilet wouldn't flush properly, and the sink tap was loose. The place seems short on basic maintenance, though having no window is just bad design. Breakfast was passable, but the restaurant was loud because its big evaporative air conditioner was struggling to cool the space. The room had the feel of one of those P200 for 3 hours places. For less than half the price, we could have stayed at one of the nearby inn-type places.
