Being close to Terminal Tangub and the market made this a convenient place to stay. The staff also treated me the way I hoped, and I’d still recommend it. I booked a standard room for 1,150 for two days and one night. That felt costly for me, since I wasn’t very satisfied with how the room looked.
It’s central but surprisingly quiet, and the free drinking water, hot shower, and working WiFi were good. The price felt too high for what you get. The aircon was poor, there were mosquitoes, and no toiletries at all, not even soap or paper. The blanket was so short it seemed only big enough for a baby. The CR layout was awkward too, with the toilet right in front of the washbasin.
The walls were damaged, the corners had lots of stains, and the doors looked dusty. Pillows, curtains, and floor mats all seemed unclean, with stains on the pillows and curtains. Towels were very thin and many were torn, like they’d been used for a long time. The place feels poorly maintained.
The staff were friendly, it was quiet, and there’s a market nearby as well as the terminal within walking distance. Breakfast is included, and it’s a bit pricey, though cheaper than the other option. The yellowish lights were dim and hurt my eyes. There’s no table, so it’s not suitable for auditors who need to write or use a laptop. The aircon is small, and the blanket only covered my legs. Good for a bath, wash, sleep, and go.
We arrived late after booking and were advised to pay 500 pesos. The room was ready with the aircon already on. They had free breakfast and parking for both our motorbikes and vehicle.
