The giant room had a balcony and king-size bed, but we were still charged 1000 pesos for our child to sleep there. Breakfast was free and actually pretty good. The location is awful: it was advertised as a 5 minute walk to the beach, but it took at least 20+ minutes. LIE!

We stopped at this hotel while visiting Bohol. I’d read plenty of negative reviews, but I thought it was fine for a stay and had what we needed. The staff were kind and helpful. The location is the one downside. It’s better to take a Tuk Tuk to Alona Beach.

The pool here is amazing, spotless, warm, and lovely. There are plenty of sunbeds, and most of the time we were there, we didn’t see anyone else. Breakfast was egg, corned beef, toast, rice, and melon. We arrived in Panglao, found the hotel on booking, then walked from the main road, which took about 10 minutes. The staff were lovely and very helpful. We’d asked for a quiet room and got a top-floor room with no neighbours, heaven! It was massive, with a nice kitchen area, a large distilled water bottle, fridge, coffee and tea, and kettle. The bathroom was a good size and always had hot water. The hotel is down a long lane, a good 10 minute walk from alona beach, and the noise there! We really enjoyed our stay.

The room was quite dusty, especially the electric fan and bed frame, but at this price I could live with it. Getting to Alona beach took 15-16 mins on foot since Hennan closed the shortcut, so you have to detour. It was a great budget-friendly stay otherwise, with free drinking water and toiletries, spacious rooms, and quiet surroundings.
