It was easy to get into Alona Beach on a hired scooter, and we liked being able to leave the busy areas behind and return to the quiet gardens at Halamanan Residences. Every so often we heard a plane far off or a gecko nearby, but otherwise it was peaceful, and even the AC was quiet. The access track is quite long, though that also helps keep the place secluded. The scooter made that road quicker and smoother for us. We wanted a luxury stay in Panglao, and the higher price felt worth it. The team was amazing, and every detail, from breakfast and the pool to the room, was well considered. Our room was large, with a great bathroom and an indoor-outdoor shower that was a real treat. We even cooked a couple of times when we wanted something simple, then enjoyed it in the beautiful garden. Would recommend.

The villa’s interior and design were impressive, thoughtful, and relaxing. I really value peace and quiet, and this place was perfect for that. The beds were comfortable, and the towels and sheets were clean. Staff were hospitable, polite, and attentive throughout. It was definitely worth what we paid, and we’d gladly come back.

The place is a little remote, which we really liked, and it’s only a 20min walk to the city center. The villa was beautifully designed and high standard, and the common pool was cozy and pretty. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Service made the stay memorable: great communication, friendly and attentive people, helpful suggestions, and always ready to support us. We highly recommend staying here. Thanks again.

It’s a quiet spot, but be aware the residences are at the end of a dirt road, about a 12 min walk to the main road. Snakes and spiders aren’t uncommon to see. Each villa is very private, and we loved having our own pool. There’s also a shared pool everyone can use. Staff were lovely and helped coordinate transportation, tours, massages, bike rentals, and more. We had a wonderful stay at Halamanan.

Halamanan was a lovely place for a peaceful morning tea. The villa was charming and comfortable, with a beautiful patio and garden. The staff were amazing, very kind and accommodating, and always a pleasure to talk with. It’s a little secluded, but still an easy walk to Alona Beach, or an even easier ride by moto or tuk tuk.
