The room was spacious and spotless, with air con, and the bathroom was clean with a hot shower. It's also right by the beach and pretty cheap for that location. I stayed two nights and was happy with it. I'd stay again.

The staff were pleasant to deal with, but they weren't upfront about what worked. I chose the room with a balcony, then at check-in was told it had been reserved and we were moved to another one. Nobody mentioned that the TV in room 2 didn't work, or that the Wi-Fi wouldn't work either, so we didn't get the service advertised. IMO, I felt defrauded. Make this INN a last resort if you really need a room, and take your business elsewhere if you can.

I had a nice stay. The room and bathroom were clean, and there was Wi-Fi and a hot shower. It cost less than the other hotel near the beach.

The rate makes sense for the location. It's easy to spend time at Alona Beach, leave your luggage here while you go on a tour, or just come back for a quick nap. If you're staying out drinking on the beach late and only need somewhere to sleep, the savings can go toward food and fun. Tell them "Alona Beach" if you're taking the bus or a motorbike. The 1,000 peso deposit made me a little uneasy, though I'm sure you'll get it back!
