The owner was nice, the bed was comfortable, and the place was very cheap. Still, I wouldn't recommend it. The bathroom had no toilet seat, and one bulb didn't work at all, so I couldn't see while searching through my bag. None of the bathrooms had soap, which felt really gross. The shower water tasted salty, something I've never come across at another hostel in the Philippines. Roosters from the chicken farm next door were extremely loud through the night. Scooter rentals and beer cost more than they should, and every water refill from the dispenser came with a charge. I also had to pay to rent a towel. It's tucked down a back alley with construction nearby, though town is only a ten-minute walk away.

There’s a lovely communal space, and the grounds are full of trees and flowers. Andy and Vicky, the owners, are wonderful. The huts are well built, with palm roofs, TVs, and large showers and toilets. You can rent a scooter from them or book trips through the hostel too. :)

For the price, this is a nice hostel with very kind owners. The main downside for me was getting there: the narrow alley has no lights, and walking through it alone didn't feel safe. At night, I also had to wait for the restroom a couple of times when everyone had come back.

The owners were both very pleasant, and the place has an island feel. I liked that every wooden bed had its own fan, lamp, and socket. The common area could be bigger for relaxing, though, the bathrooms need an upgrade, and it's not the shortest walk to Panglao beach.

I stayed in a dorm and liked having a small fan at every bed. The bathroom there was roomy and comfortable, and you can refill your water for free at reception. Nice hostel with friendly staff, I'd recommend it.
