Leux Hotel

I paid ₱1,400 for one night at this hotel on December 24, 2025, using the BOHOLISGOOD promo code, which was valid until January 2026. I booked through the official website because I had an important event nearby. For that price, the hotel exceeded what I expected. The room was adequate, though a few things could be improved, and being right beside reception may bother anyone who's fussy. It didn't spoil my stay. The receptionists and other staff were respectful and helpful. I also enjoyed the pool and the night view from the rooftop terrace. I hope to stay again soon. Future guests should treat the people they meet with respect.

We had a lovely family stay, with 8 adults and 3 kids in two poolside rooms and one room in the main building for 2.5 days and 2 nights. The beds, pillows, and warm blankets were good, the air conditioning worked well, and the rooms looked very nice. I appreciated the drinking water, refrigerator, cups, coffee, and plenty of space for our things. From inside, we had a nice view of the pool. The staff were approachable and very accommodating, and there were shops, restaurants, entertainment, and the beach nearby. No regrets and no complaints about the stay overall. One concern: the shower and water in the toilet area turned rusty, and the pools needed cleaning. Two of the kids got sick after swimming.

The hotel looks newly decorated, but my room had a strong fresh-paint smell and what seemed to be formaldehyde. It was overwhelming enough to make the stay uncomfortable. I was in room 6 by the pool from April 11 to 12, 2025. Housekeeping wasn't daily unless requested. I did ask for cleaning, but after 4 PM I was told there were no cleaning staff available, so the room never got cleaned during my two-day stay. The shower gel and shampoo ran out before one full shower, and I had to call reception mid-shower. It took about 15 minutes for someone to bring more. The only tissues were toilet paper rolls, with no facial tissues, which was inconvenient. For the price, I expected much better service and basic amenities, despite the hotel's new appearance.

The location is excellent, and the new poolside area looks fresh and appealing. But the rooms aren't all alike. We booked three rooms, two standard and one poolside. The standard rooms are in the older building, where there are signs of age. They're cramped, missing some basic amenities, and the bathroom was a bit dirty. The staff are nice, but don't seem well trained. When customers raise a problem, they look unprepared and aloof in difficult situations. It leaves me wondering how much management still cares about this hotel.
