Dear Regency Vigan Hotel Management, I was very disappointed by our stay. I booked a Family Room for 3 adults and 2 children for 1 night, paying ₱6,500 plus another ₱750 for the extra child. The room was a Loft Type with 2 double beds and 1 king bed, but it hadn't been cleaned properly. We even found a rubber band in the shower, suggesting someone had stayed there before us. The room stayed uncomfortably warm even after we left the air conditioning on for 3 hours. When we told the front desk staff, they didn't deal with the problem adequately. Dusty beds left my husband coughing and sneezing, and my children and I had rashes and bites. Breakfast was cold and unappetizing, with inedible rice, and the customer service was poor. For a premium price, I expected better cleanliness, amenities, and service. The experience was unacceptable and not worth the expense. I strongly advise against recommending Regency Vigan Hotel.

The market right across the street keeps the area busy and chaotic. Inside, though, things were worse: the room was dirty and smelled bad, the air-conditioning only blew air, and the TV was a tiny monitor that I could barely notice and wasn’t sure even worked. The toilet had no lid or seat, and there was no hot water. We even lost water while one of us was showering. Breakfast was just Vigan pride longganisa, with no other choice. The elevator was the one decent thing. Read the reviews before booking; the complaints about this place keep coming up.

We had four power cuts in three hours, and the generator never came on. The smart lock also wasn’t working properly. In the bathroom, the faucets were badly rusted, the toilet was falling apart, the shower curtain was torn, there was no hot water, and the whole room was a mess. The TV had no remote, while the air-conditioning was painfully loud.

Friendly staff, but this place didn’t feel worth what I paid. The unit was small, had a stale old smell, and the bathroom smelled too. The water was unpleasant, the pipes were rusty, and the heater barely worked. The air-conditioning was noisy, there was no TV reception, and no Wi-Fi because, as they apparently said, it wasn’t being loaded. Booking.com reviews were disabled.
