Wellbeach Dive Resort

I’m here 3-10-26. They say they offer blackout curtains, but what they gave me was a blanket that doesn’t really fit, and a lot of light still gets through. The whole resort is lit up like daytime. Even the overhead light won’t switch fully off, so it’s like having a night light on constantly. The light pollution is bad. It’s very quiet, but how are you supposed to sleep with bright lights shining into your room?

The diving was a highlight of our four nights at Wellbeach Dive Resort. I did my Advanced Open Water Diver course with Thomas, who was professional, calm, and fun to learn from. I felt safe and well guided the whole time. We also took a day trip to Apo Island with the boat all to ourselves. The service was excellent from start to finish, and it felt like a private luxury outing where everything was handled so we could relax and enjoy the dives. The resort itself is peaceful and beautifully kept, with a great pool and staff who are incredibly friendly and welcoming. We felt at home right away. The on-site restaurant by the ocean was fantastic too, with delicious food and lots of variety. Great diving, a relaxed atmosphere, and warm hospitality. We loved every moment and will definitely be back!

This resort is quiet and laid-back, which made it a great place to relax and recharge. The staff were really nice and did an excellent job, and the food was tasty, both Filipino and Western. Our room had a good bed, hot shower, and nice air conditioning. It’s also a great base for scuba diving at Apo Island, and the dive master and crew deserve credit too. I was glad to get the chance to stay here, and I can recommend it to anyone.

I stayed for 3 days after originally booking 4, but the Wi-Fi was too poor and phone service was minimal. I was working and couldn’t log in or join meetings. There were ants everywhere and a spider on the wall. A horrible experience.
