Hotel Hunza One

These guys run the place as a business venture with local students, so do support them. The rooms are decent, and the balcony looks out toward Baltit Fort and the rest of the valley. It’s opposite Cafe De Hunza, so food isn’t an issue. In April, during the off season and Ramadan, we got a great deal at 4k/night. We had electricity all day, mostly from solar. The main problem was hot water: we were promised it, but went without it for a few days. I’d recommend it if hot water and electricity aren’t a concern.

The location is central and very nice, with a great view and good parking. The bedrooms were very clean, though they could use things like side tables and a wall clock. Bathrooms were about 3/5: water leaked from the pipes, and the toilet had weird water. I hope they improve that.

The people here are so welcoming, and the staff felt like family. Staying here felt like being at home. The rooms were neat and clean, with amazing views. I’ll definitely come back.

Hotel Hunza One is a small, neat and clean hotel in Karimabad, Hunza. It doesn’t provide meals, but the staff are good and cooperative. The rooms are large and equipped with beds, chairs, a table, TV, and other basics. Some have a back Terris for sightseeing, while others don’t.
