Grand Homes Hotel

The manager was really nice and cooperative. About two hours after check-in, he moved us to a better room with a nice view. It was a big improvement and gave us a good first impression. That’s the reason for the two stars. The room service guy was rude and unprofessional, arguing and using bad manners whenever I asked for something. I reminded him three or four times to fix the TV, but he kept saying, “Ap ne yad ni dilaya.” Ordering food was frustrating too. After we’d waited about 40 minutes, someone called to say the food we’d ordered wasn’t available. I walked down to order something else, but was told to order through room service. Back in the room, the guy suggested my family and I go downstairs to eat. They were tired after traveling all day. He replied rudely, “Apki family niche ni aa skti?” I called the manager, but he didn’t pick up. If we were expected to eat in the restaurant, why keep us waiting an hour with empty stomachs? The room service staff seemed deliberately uncooperative, as if they wanted to avoid work. I think they were ignoring me because they had more important, or richer, guests. The last two days were stressful and frustrating, and the poor customer service ruined our stay. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

My family and I enjoyed watching the rain and the view afterward. The view is really nice, and it was a good experience overall.

The view from the window was lovely, and the staff were nice. I still had a good stay overall, so I’m giving it four stars, but the bed linen needs attention. There was hair on the pillow, and the pillow itself seemed not to have been cleaned since the previous guests, even if the cover had been changed. A bedsheet had a few stains, maybe spilled tea or something else, and it put me off. I asked to change rooms, but the sheets in the other rooms were much dirtier, so I went back to the first one and let it slide. I also had to wait about an hour for hot water. Staff said the other guests had used it all and asked me to wait. They should always have clean pillows and sheets. Those little things make people want to come back.

The room smelled, there was no TV, the Wi-Fi wasn’t proper, and the rooms weren’t cleaned. They looked like storerooms, yet the rent was like a five-star hotel. I left right away and moved to another hotel. I’m uploading a photo of the mould and mildew (mould and mildew). Bad experience.
