Hotel Cecil Homes

My stay at Cecil Hotel was a big disappointment, and I want to warn others. The room and food were not terrible, and the food tasted fine, but extra charges ruined the experience. Food prices were already high, and they even charged for the cutlery sent with the food. Those hidden costs made it feel like a money-making trap. The bathrooms had broken fixtures and were poorly maintained, and hygiene didn't seem to matter. Staff were polite and tried their best, but they seemed overworked, like good people stuck in a bad system. Management felt careless and inefficient. Cecil Hotel has nothing to do with PC (Pearl Continental). Using “PC” in the name seems meant to mislead customers and attract bookings, but its service and standards are nowhere near what you'd expect from anything associated with PC. It's mismanaged, misleading, and overpriced. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

A nice, peaceful hotel near the back of Mall Road, with good rates and very supportive management. It's not an easy walk, but I'll go there again.

The Victorian property is beautifully decorated, and the food was absolutely delicious. The staff paid attention to the little things and took good care of us. Yasir and Mehtaab were especially warm and made us feel at home. They helped us choose from the menu and went out of their way to make meals for our family without spice, which we really appreciated. We had a wonderful time with the family at Cecil Homes, Murree, and are still talking about it. A charming, welcoming retreat, highly recommended. 5/5 stars.

They even gave me a special discount, which I loved 👍. The stay itself was wonderful: the room was spotless, comfortable, and nicely designed, and the location was ideal. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the amenities went beyond what we expected. I’d happily recommend it.
