It’s easy to fit friends, families, couples, or larger groups here. The staff are lovely and serve guests with real care. I also liked the old, classy wooden look, which gives the place an ambience I haven’t seen elsewhere in Murree. It’s set away from the rush, and the location is outclass. I’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting Murree.

The building is very well kept and the location is the best part. The rooms could use a bit of improvement to make the rent feel justified.

Built in 1880, it’s still been preserved for more than a century.

I was quoted one room rate over the phone, then an hour later, when I arrived, the price had gone up. There don’t seem to be any fixed prices. They also wouldn’t let me pay by card, saying the machine was “out of order.” I found that explanation hard to believe and felt they were taking cash and keeping it from the administration. The staff were unfriendly, and the whole experience felt dishonest and unprofessional to me. My stay at Lockwood Hotel Murree was a disaster. I’d warn other tourists away from this place. Lockwood Hotel is a disgrace to hospitality.

Nice old-school atmosphere, but the food is a bit overpriced.
