The views are excellent, and the lodge has a huge private area around it. It’s a renovated British era forest rest house with modern facilities, including WiFi and heaters in the rooms and hot water in the bathrooms. The rooms are really good and the staff cooperative. On quieter days, they’ll offer a decent discount. It was a wonderful stay in a great location at the top of patriata. The main problem is load shedding. When it happens, there’s no WiFi, hot water, or heater.

It’s a decent resort, but the atmosphere isn’t quite what it should be. With all the trees, it still feels like a mini city. If you’re looking for peace, this isn’t the place for you.

The place looks nothing like the pictures, not even close. Cleanliness was awful: the room smelled, there were dirt marks, and the bedsheets were reused. The decorative rug in the middle of the room looked like it had been picked up off the road. Not recommended for people who care about hygiene, though someone who doesn’t might be fine staying there.

The rooms at Raas Resort (Patriata Top) felt roomy, and the place was quiet, secure, and really clean. We also loved the cool, breezy weather up at the top. The staff were sweet and helpful, and the food was delicious. It’s a safe, kid-friendly choice for families. We’d love to return soon.

A very nice spot for a holiday visit. People can come here from Islamabad in about two days, and it’s 55 km away.
