Hotel Stork

I don’t care whether the hotel has a jacuzzi if there’s nowhere to get proper rest. The rooms have poor soundproofing, so you hear neighbors snoring and alarms going off on other floors. Breakfast came with loud kitchen gossip through the wide-open door. Even though checkout was at 11:00, cleaners were already vacuuming, shouting, and blocking the elevator at 8:30, leaving no chance to relax. Outside, cars idled and maneuvered right by the hotel, and a car alarm woke me at 6 AM. The curtains didn’t close all the way, so the sun kept me from getting back to sleep. My first room was unbearable because of a buzzing external AC fan. I’d guess most rooms numbered 1** have the same problem, though they did move me. The hotel felt poorly managed. Some staff meant well, but didn’t seem to have much direction.

We were upgraded after booking a triple room, and the arrangement was really comfortable: a lounge with a sofa bed plus a separate bedroom. The bathroom was huge, with a bath and shower apart from each other. Breakfast was amazing, with lots of options to choose from. Hotel Stork is right in the city center, too.

Stork has a nice package for a short visit. The rooms are lovely and the beds comfortable, and breakfast was good. There’s also a restaurant with a strong choice of dishes and locally sourced drinks.

The hotel is central, so it’s easy to walk to all the places around town. The staff were efficient, kind, and helpful, and the whole stay felt relaxing. Really good hospitality. I recommend it.
