Focus Premium Apartments by Focus Hotels

We arrived late and were leaving early because Gdansk wasn't our final destination. All we wanted was a bit of rest, but the night was awful. There was a huge air extractor on the ceiling, and I'm quite sure that can't meet hotel standards. It felt like the owner was trying to squeeze money out of every corner of this old building, ignoring the rules. Every half hour, the extractor came on with a loud noise for about 10 minutes. We expected it might stop when the restaurant on the ground floor closed, but it kept going all night until 5 AM, when we finally left. I called the administration using the number in the registration email, but nobody answered. We were completely exhausted the next day. I demanded a full refund. It was a torture chamber!

The central location made it easy to get to the attractions, and some were within walking distance. It's right beside a huge mall that's worth checking out. Even with the lively mall outside and a restaurant downstairs, I didn't hear any outside noise. I felt comfortable and safe, and the place was clean with free drinking water provided. Check-in was super easy. Honestly, I'd stay here again if I were going to Gdansk.

We stayed for a few nights last December and really enjoyed it. The apartments are modern, tastefully decorated, and central, with the old town just a two-minute walk away and the beautiful Forum shopping mall right next door. It's one of the best shopping malls in Poland. The only slight downside was the lack of on-site reception or check-in service, which made things a little inconvenient at first.

The location is great and the rooms look nice, but the one I was in had ventilation so loud I couldn't rest there, and I can't imagine sleeping with it. Booking.com helped me move to another room, which solved the problem.
