We had a lovely stay and would go back. The rooms were bright, clean and comfortable, with shower gel, conditioner and moisturizer provided. There was a safe, but no fridge. Breakfast had enough choice and the small plates were fine. At the weekend there was a queue for the waffle machine, though the other items were easy to get. No toaster, either. The hotel is well placed for getting around on foot. We walked there from the train station in about 15 minutes. St Mary's church is opposite, there's a craft beer pub next door, and plenty of restaurants nearby. Once there, everything was within walking distance.

I liked the old town location, which made it easy to get around. My stay would have earned five stars if the room temperature problem had been fixed sooner. It wasn't sorted until the morning of my second day, after a hot, sleepless night. Breakfast was just so-so.

It was easy to explore the Old Town from Hampton by Hilton Gdansk Old Town, with bars, restaurants and historic sights all a short walk away. Coming back to a quiet, cozy room was a real plus. The rooms were well kept and very clean, with daily cleaning that made the stay comfortable and worry-free. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of fresh, tasty choices every morning. I really enjoyed my time here and would happily book this welcoming, reliable hotel again.

We spent Christmas in Gdansk old town and would absolutely stay at the Hammpton by Hilton Hotel again. The Christmas market was just a two minute walk away, the canal was only a few minutes on foot, and the restaurants and bars we wanted to visit were close by. Gdansk old town is beautiful, and we had some lovely chats with friendly, polite Polish people over a drink in the bars. We're already planning to return for a long weekend in summer. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and we couldn't fault the rooms, food or service. The rooms were very clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast had a brilliant buffet selection, including cereals and much more. With restaurants closed on Christmas day, we had the hotel's festive feast, which was absolutely 100%.

The room itself was lovely, but the reception staff left us disappointed, especially given how expensive the stay was. We arrived very early and the room wasn't ready, which I completely understand. We had breakfast included for the following days, but not the day we arrived. When I asked for coffee because I had a headache, they pointed me to Starbucks. We stayed over New Year and were also asked to have money blocked on our card, without much explanation, simply because of the dates of our stay.
