Gotyk House

This hotel is beautiful and ideally placed for walking to all the attractions. The customer service was pleasant, check-in was easy, and I appreciated the welcome gift. Room 7, the first one I was given, was tiny, so I asked to move. For a small extra fee I got room 8, which was much better. Both the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms were good. There were a few hassles: parking by the hotel requires booking ahead and calling to request a permit; food smells from the adjoining Mexican restaurant lingered in the hallway and on the stairs; and because check-in is in the next building, I had to haul my luggage back and forth to my room in the other building. Even with those inconveniences, my stay was great. The hotel's charm, beauty, and location make it easy to recommend.

We loved the block print artwork around this atmospheric, memorable hotel. It's on Mariacki street, right beside the church, with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The church bells couldn't be heard in our room and sounded pleasant outside. The building has been renovated very well, and everything was clean and tastefully designed. There's no elevator, but the stairs were easy to climb. We stayed in an attic room that was a little low for my tall partner, though he never hit his head and was fine. The bathroom had strong water pressure, and the friendly staff gave us sweets and a keepsake magnet. Easily recommend to others. Thank you for the good stay, Gotyk House!

I loved that the building still has all its historic features. Such a beautiful stay.

The reception staff were exceptionally helpful, and our room was spotless. The hotel sits right in Gdańsk's old town and feels both stylish and comfortable. We did hear some outside noise coming through the windows, though. Apart from that, a perfect stay 👌
