Holiday Inn Gdansk - City Centre by IHG

The one bad part was dinner. I arrived at the restaurant at 9:55 PM and they refused to serve me because they close at 10. I was staying in the same hotel, and saw food still being brought out for someone who had arrived ten minutes before me, with their meal served after 10 PM. I don’t understand the logic. I went to bed hungry. The rest of my stay at Holiday Inn Gdańsk City Centre was great. The modern interior is well maintained and welcoming, and the location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Gdańsk, close to attractions, restaurants, and the waterfront. Breakfast was good with a decent range, though Muslim travelers should know the chicken and beef options aren’t halal. The staff were polite, helpful, and professional throughout. There’s a fitness center, conference room, sky bar with lovely city views, and a free iMac station by reception. Highly recommended for a visit to Gdańsk.

The room was excellent, and the reception staff were kind and welcoming. The location is very good too. But the breakfast was a real letdown, with very few choices and a poor selection. I was also very unhappy to find that snow outside the entrance had been left to turn into slippery ice, which was extremely dangerous. When it thawed, a large puddle formed there and made things worse. Management should be ashamed to have let this happen.

I only had a night here, but it left a strong impression and I’ll definitely return. The room was spacious, clean, and well kept, with plenty of amenities, including lots of USB charging outlets. Check-in was quick and professional, and the big, bright lobby had a lovely scent. I didn’t get to try the food or breakfast this time, so I hope to do that on my next visit. A taxi had been arranged and was waiting after checkout.

Mr. Pawel made my stay at Park Inn Hotel smooth and memorable. From the start, he was welcoming, efficient, attentive, and genuinely caring, which made me feel comfortable throughout. His dedication reflects well on the hotel’s high standards. I highly recommend Park Inn Hotel and really appreciate Mr. Pawel’s excellent hospitality.
