PURO Hotel Gdańsk Stare Miasto makes a stylish impression from the moment you arrive. Its spot on Wyspa Spichrzów, beside the marina and a short walk from Neptune’s Fountain, is ideal for seeing Gdańsk. The sights are close enough to explore on foot, with plenty of scenic streets for a slow wander and a coffee. The rooms feel relaxed and polished, with comfortable beds and smart controls you can manage from a tablet. There's also a rooftop bar overlooking the city and the calming Prisma Spa, so heading out can take some effort. Breakfast is another highlight, with plenty of choice and thoughtful vegan and gluten-free options. The variety and quality make it tempting to get up early just to eat. The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful, making the welcome feel personal. With the convenient location, good food, modern design, and comfortable rooms, city breaks here feel easy, and checking out comes too soon.

I had a smart room with a floor-to-ceiling window looking onto the street. The staff were consistently great, and the bar team were friendly and enthusiastic. I ate at the restaurant once after spending a freezing afternoon walking around the city. My mushroom risotto was perfect, and the waitress was enthusiastic about wine and gave me a really good recommendation. A great experience from beginning to end.

I left some documents at the hotel, and the local team made sure I got them back quickly and safely. Their care and dedication really stood out. The staff were excellent, and the hotel itself is a great value right in central Gdansk, with modern, very pleasant rooms and a lovely overall feel. The breakfast buffet was amazing too.

There’s a great choice of restaurants and bars right nearby, and the rooftop bar at the hotel is lovely. It’s on Granary Island in central Gdansk, with a gym, sauna and steam room, plus good food at reasonable prices. The War museum is about a 15-minute walk away and well worth seeing; the Christmas Market and shopping centre are around 10 minutes on foot. I’d definitely recommend a visit.
