Welcome Apartment - Old Town Smart City

The apartment was lovely and stylish, and the location was great, but the dirt really spoiled the rooms. Cleaning seemed to have been done with the bare minimum effort. There were cobwebs in the corners and thick dust along the skirting, lampshades, and other edges. The staff were the worst part. They didn't seem to care about customers and were rude and unhelpful. For arrivals after 6 pm, keys have to be collected from a security office somewhere else. We got there at 6:40 pm and struggled to find the pickup point. When we finally got the keys, the place looked closed, and the keys didn't work anyway, so a locksmith had to be called. We spent two hours in the stairwell before getting into the apartment. We tried calling several times about the problems but kept getting a message saying their hours were Monday to Friday, 9 to 6. That's extremely inappropriate for an accommodation business. When we finally reached someone, they acted inconvenienced and were rude and generally no help, even though the keys and service were the problem. We were also short on supplies: eight people in two apartments for three nights, but not enough toilet paper. Asking for more was met with rudeness too. Such a shame, since it seemed like a great find, but the uninterested, unhelpful hosts completely ruined it.

It was cold.

The place was awful. We couldn't get in at first because the owner had given us the wrong code, and we had to contact Booking.com. Once inside, we found dirty chairs and flooded walls. The shower was completely blocked when we tried to wash, and the bathroom flooded. I hope they fix this, or we'll report it. Apartment number 1, and it clearly seems to have been an ongoing problem.

The apartment is spacious, with high ceilings, lovely windows, and thick blackout curtains in the bedrooms. It's in a beautiful building in a great location, and convenient parking is available on request. It was clean, with dish soap, shower gel, bathroom towels, and kitchen paper towels. Some of the equipment feels worn. One sofa cushion is torn, and the dishwasher door is faulty. The coffee corner could use a few paper filters. Luckily I had some of my own, so I didn't need to go shopping just to make coffee.
