Hotel Norbit

My room wasn’t dark enough, and I barely slept for half the night. It was right next to the desk, where people talked with the woman there for hours. In the middle of the night, people also knocked on my door because they couldn’t get out.

The rooms were clean and good, and breakfast was nice. It’s also close to the center and a supermarket.

Still the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in!

You can hear everything at night, from doors and footsteps to conversations and even what’s going on in the next room. The bed is so uncomfortable that the floor starts to seem like a better choice. The mattress creaks with every turn, the pillow feels like decoration, and the duvet only keeps you warm. The room seems stuck in another time, and nothing about the place makes it feel like anyone has brought it up to date. It’s clean enough at first glance, but the longer you look, the more you wish you hadn’t. The whole atmosphere keeps you awake instead of helping you rest. Comfort is close to zero, sleep is a gamble, and there’s no relaxing here.
