The rooms were spotless, with daily housekeeping, and the staff were very helpful with our bags. It’s a great place, close to the center, about a 10-minute walk to shops and restaurants. There’s no lift, but they were accommodating about our mobility issues and moved us to the first floor, so we only had about 10 steps. If you can’t manage stairs, I wouldn’t recommend it. You can hear the trams outside, but it’s more of a hum than loud noise and eases off a lot at night. The tram stop is right across the road, which is great for exploring.

The room was clean and roomy, and the location worked really well for us: we could walk to both the old town and a huge shopping mall. The kitchenette, though, looked like it hadn’t been used or cleaned in ages. Getting our luggage upstairs was a real struggle since there’s no lift and the stairs are narrow, steep, and twisty. The stairwell smelled strongly of cigarette smoke too, which made the whole thing unpleasant.
