The apartment looked appealing, but there was no proper downstairs bed, just a couch with no linen or pillows. Upstairs, the mattress was on the floor and really uncomfortable. The ceiling was only 4 ft high, and the little stairs up there meant crawling. You couldn’t stand upright. There was no shower curtain, and the basin had no hot water.

We stayed at the end of October and had a really nice time. Check-in and check-out were easy, the room was clean, and the owner was around if anything came up. I’d happily recommend it.

The building is old, but the inside has been renovated. The location is excellent and the price is reasonable, so it felt worth it. The lady at the front desk was especially sweet and helpful, reminding me what I needed to do.

It’s very central and had everything you need, but it didn’t really work for me and my mother. We had to share the bed because the sofa bed was tiny, very low, and basically a large wooden pallet with no mattress. Room 10 is at the top of the building, up many stairs. There’s no lift or disabled access, so I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone with mobility problems.
