DReAM Post Aparthotel

We booked a room two months ahead, then the owner told us the day before our trip that it was already booked because of an error on the website. A lot can happen in two months, but apparently giving us clear notice early wasn't part of the plan. They sent one text about the issue and asked us to cancel. That would normally have cost us half our money while they kept some of it. We asked them to cancel instead and got no reply. We had to contact Airbnb support, who asked the place to cancel, and then we received a full refund. I don't usually jump to conclusions, but this place clearly seems unprofessional and poor at customer service.

We got to check in two hours early, which was really nice, and the key instructions were easy to follow. The room itself wasn't clean enough: the floor was dusty and had other things on it, so it needed vacuuming. The bed squeaked loudly with even a slight movement. The bathroom ventilation was dirty and didn't work, and with no bathroom window, a bad smell built up after a while. On our last day, we found leftover food in the microwave. It seemed the staff hadn't checked the room to make sure it was clean.

That balcony was cute, and the building felt secure and clean. The room was tiny, with small beds, but it matched the description and had all the promised amenities. It would be too cramped for more than two people, and even two is a squeeze. The washer didn’t work. We only got one towel each, with no extra for the bathroom floor or hands.
