It was a peaceful, quiet stay. The owners were really sweet and made sure I had everything I needed. There's only one shower, so plan around that.

I was out of there after half an hour. Calling this place a hostel feels unfair: it's a small apartment with two rooms, six beds in each, one bathroom shared by everyone, and a small living room as the only common space. When someone is showering, you can't even use the toilet. The street outside is busy and the trams are VERY NOISY day and night. My room was really cold, the pillow was almost flat, and the living room was right outside it. A young ashian girl was on the phone talking constantly, and there was no staff, so people could behave as if they were at home. The room was too cold and noisy to rest in, and the girl kept chatting in the living room. Outside, people were walking up and down and I couldn't find anywhere to stand. After ten minutes, I started looking for another hostel. I found one only 550 meters away, grabbed my bag and left. The code system for opening the doors was another hassle. If you enter it wrong, you ring the neighbor or set off an alarm, and I guess the neighbors aren't happy about it. The only good thing was that it was cheap, though not cheap enough. I'd suggest the owner change the business name. This isn't a comfortable hostel, and the apartment is too small to mix people of different ages and genders. It'd be better rented to one group.

I was the Asian girl mentioned in the 1-star review. I was on the phone with my friends in the shared area until 7pm, and quiet hours start at 10pm, so I don't know why that guy was complaining.

A terrible place.

I spent about a week here, and it was one of the calmest, coziest hostels I've stayed in. The owners live on the premises and have turned part of their home into a hostel. They're friendly and seem to care about guests getting a good night's sleep. The dorms, kitchen, and toilet were clean, there's free tea, and the quiet hours from 22:00 are actually respected. Alcohol is completely banned to discourage party behavior. It can get a little chilly at night, and there's only one toilet, so bring pajamas if you need them. I also want to respond to Nelson's comment on Booking, which is absolute nonsense, especially given the weird behavior he proudly described. The “young asHian woman” was on a work call and wasn't loud at all, just speaking at an acceptable level for a shared space. And if you're as fragile as Mr. Nelson, maybe pack some diapers too.
