The location is convenient, and the building and rooms are nicely presented. My partner and I stayed from 5th-9th March, and most of the staff were very friendly. We found a couple of convenience stores, a chemist, and a bakery within five minutes, with two scooter parking areas nearby that were really useful. The Old Town and Schindlers factory are each about a 10-minute walk away. We thought the shower was one of the best we’d used, and the bathroom was 10/10. Some things let the stay down. The walls are paper thin, so we could hear everything from the room next door. The bed was passable for a few nights, but the duvet barely covered the mattress and the pillows were uncomfortably huge. At check-in, we were told the rooms were non-smoking and that we’d need to go outside to smoke. Our room had a balcony, so we smoked there, but at checkout they fined us 150pzl for smoking outside. Only then did they say smoking was prohibited everywhere on the hotel grounds and that we had to go out through the front door. That wasn’t made clear at check-in. I’d rate the stay three stars. The penalty and the misinformation left a bad taste, and I’ll look for somewhere else next time I’m in Krakow.

We found the staff very friendly and helpful, and Wawel Castle was about a 15-minute walk away. The hotel is right by a tram stop, across the road from a square with restaurants and bars, and close to small grocery shops and lots of tourist sights. It’s in the Jewish quarter, about five minutes on foot from the fast airport train. Our room was clean and tidy. We mainly used it to sleep, since we went out after breakfast and got back late. Breakfast was excellent, with hot food, cereals, cold meats, and fruit. An ideal location.

The location is perfect, and the staff were friendly and helpful. A couple of small things were wrong, the TV didn’t work and the shower door wouldn’t close all the way, but we still enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.

I could hear the guests next door talking at a normal volume and even getting phone notifications through the room’s very poor sound insulation. It was the middle of the night, my wife was asleep, and I didn’t know whether another room was available. When I raised the noise problem with the receptionist the next morning, he blamed me for not coming downstairs during the night and argued with me. It was a rude and dismissive response. Between the paper-thin walls and that unprofessional attitude, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

The area suited us well, close to sights and transport, with a tour pickup spot across the road. We liked the neighborhood and had a good stay. The staff were friendly, the breakfasts had plenty of choice, and the bed was comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep. The air-conditioning worked and the room was comfortable, though the sheet was very small. Our room faced a rather dreary courtyard at the back, and we could hear some tram noise. We visited in August 2024. The hotel looks very dated, especially cosmetically, and I was a little embarrassed because I was treating my wife to a short holiday. We didn’t spend much time in the room, though, and I’d stay here again if needed, but would probably look at other options first.
