***REVIEW FROM MAUREEN MITCHELL*** The staff were wonderful and caring when one of my three sisters became very ill from food poisoning from a restaurant in town. Both staff members were called Susannah. My sister passed out and hurt her ankle when she fell, so we needed taxis most of the time. One of the staff would call one for us from the hotel, which was a big help, and the fare was reasonable. Getting a taxi from the square was another story. The first ride back cost more than double what we had paid to get there. After that we asked the price before getting in, and most quotes were much higher than our first fare. That was the only downside to Krakow. It's a fabulous city, and the people are lovely and friendly. The hotel is about a 25 minute walk from the main square. I had just returned from Krakow after a wonderful stay. The room was very clean and had enough useful things for a short break, including a kettle, toaster, iron and hairdryer. We were there to celebrate one sister's birthday.

The room was a good size and stayed lovely and warm even with it -8 outside. We also got more amenities than I expected for the price, including a great little kitchenette. It took about 15 minutes to walk to the main square, which wasn't a problem for us, though it may matter if walking for a while is difficult for you. A wonderful place that exceeded my expectations, and I'd highly recommend it.

We had a comfortable studio for our three-day trip, with a hot plate, microwave, kettle, fridge with a small freezer, and a TV. The TV only had Polish cable, unfortunately. The location in Lea worked really well: essentials are close by, there are lovely parks nearby, and Krakow centre is about a 10-minute walk away. Reception were helpful and accommodating. My only reason for not giving five stars is that the decor could use an update. Otherwise, it was just right for us.

The room decor is a little dated, but for the price I really can't complain. It was clean and fairly comfortable, and the staff were extremely helpful. The main square in Krakow centre is roughly a 15-20 minute walk away.

It felt like good value, and we didn't feel tied to the usual hotel routine. Having our own flat was a nice change. It had everything we needed, with laundry and extra cleaning available if requested.
