We paid for the most expensive room and got something nothing like the photos. The rooms were unbelievably dirty, with thick dust around the edges and bits all over the floors, so we kept having to wipe our feet before getting into bed. The bathroom tile was cracked and shifted underfoot, pinching our feet. The duvet was so small that at 178cm tall my feet were uncovered when it was up to my chin. The sheets weren't changed during our stay. We ran out of toilet roll on day 2. When we asked, we were told toilet rolls and fresh towels were only given after the third day. We later found some in a cupboard outside by the iron, but no one had told us, and we'd already bought toilet paper. The walls are extremely thin, so you can hear the neighbours and they can hear you. We had to listen to a neighbour practising piano scales for four hours straight at night. Also, as others have said, check-in is at a hostel a 20-minute walk south of the apartments. Anyone giving this place five stars is out of their minds.

There was poop and urine in the toilet. I messaged the staff, who said they could clean it the next day, so I had to buy bleach and do it myself. I asked for extra toilet paper because there was only one roll, but none was brought, and nobody came to clean. The room was really cold, and check-in was very slow because reception is somewhere else. It was dirty overall. I'll never come back.

When we arrived at the flat, none of the radiators worked. The receptionist was very willing to help because it was so cold, but the manager said 18 degrees was the right temperature and never came to check. We asked for another flat or our money back, and the manager seemed to think we were being silly, then sent a radiator. It took three hours to arrive, despite 12 phone calls and going in person to complain. The managers gave terrible service, and we decided to move. The manager/owner is unscrupulous and should be dismissed. Do not book this place.

Getting the keys means going a long way from the apartment. The room's toilet was extremely dirty, with the seat completely covered in urine.

On my first trip to Poland, this spacious, peaceful place exceeded what I expected for the affordable price. It's easy to find, with a bus stop just around the corner, and the Old Town main square is easy to reach. Check-in is at an office a short distance away, but walking there gave me a chance to see some of the old town. By the time I arrived, I knew where to go for food and drinks that evening.
