Getting in was quick and easy, and the location is hard to beat: close to the Old Town, the castle, and the Jewish district. For what you pay, it's one of the best places to stay in Krakow. The rooms are fine, though nothing special. Shared bathrooms were fine too, but a queue could form now and then, so timing your shower might save you a wait.

The building itself was a highlight, especially the historic lift and the Art Deco stained glass skylight. Our room was clean, with plenty of towels and fresh bedding. When we asked for extra pillows and sheets, the staff sorted it out quickly. The heater blew a fuse, but they fixed that within ten minutes and even gave us a discount. A really interesting change from the usual plastic lounges, and the staff were great. Quality ❤️

It's a hostel right across from the Old Town, in an old building with no elevator and very high floors. Getting upstairs is definitely a workout, so bring water.

For a very low price, I got my own room, and it's close to the Market Square, palace, shops, and other sights. The room was a decent size with high ceilings, though basic and dated, and the furniture and bed were okay. I noticed a smoky smell as a non-smoker. The bathroom has been refurbished, but the hot water sometimes cuts out for a few seconds. There wasn't a sign outside, though there were signs inside. Reception is staffed, unlike places where you have to check yourself in, but it isn't open 24/7. The receptionist spoke good English. I was happy with the stay, especially given how cheap it was and my low expectations.

The staff were nice, and the bathroom is great, but the rest of the room was dusty. The bed was uncomfortable enough to cause back pain, and the walls let you hear everything. There are no window blinds, so with the sun coming up at 5, sleeping was difficult. I wouldn't lift the mattress if you don't want to freak out.
