The pool was a welcome extra, clean and well looked after, and a relaxing place to unwind after a day out. We also enjoyed the fresh, varied breakfasts. During our stay at Skalny SPA Hotel in Polańczyk, the staff were especially friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome. For a 3-star hotel, it deserves 5 stars, meeting and often going beyond what I'd expect in its category. A dependable option in the heart of Polańczyk if you want comfort, cleanliness, and warm service.

Nothing here felt worth the nightly price. The room in the main building wasn't very clean and had a strange smell. The spa was limited to 2 small rooms, and the swimming pool was tiny and crowded all the time. Breakfast was very poor and started too late, at 8:00. The hotel, room, spa, and breakfast were all very low level. I'd avoid it.

I had a really nice time there. The area was great, the rooms were comfortable and had pleasant balconies, and the staff were very polite. The spa was amazing too, with massage, facial treatments, and a jacuzzi.

The spa facilities were rather dirty, and our supposedly equipped apartment suite was missing kitchen items. We were also given twin beds instead of the advertised doubles. Polańczyk itself, through no fault of the venue, has to be one of the ugliest places around the otherwise lovely Bieszczady Mountains.

The staff seemed not to care at all. The place is badly run down: broken furniture, holes in the walls, towels with holes, and mold on the hand sanitizers. The shower water keeps stopping and turning cold every few seconds. The description is deliberately misleading, since the hotel isn’t on the lake; it’s 2km away, and third-party bookings have to pay extra to use it. Check the pictures and beware.
