Hotel Antoninska

We had two rooms with a shared kitchen and balcony, and everything was spotless and comfortable. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and there was a pleasant outdoor spot to sit with a drink. We didn’t try the restaurant, but breakfast was great. It felt pretty luxurious.

The room was dirty when I arrived, and the hotel did nothing about it. Staff were rude, and the shared dining area, which hadn’t been mentioned, was noisy, with people slamming doors and throwing bottles at night. Drunk people from an event screamed outside my window until 5am, and the hotel did nothing about that either. It felt more like a dorm than a hotel. I felt cleaner working on my laptop outside than indoors. I can’t believe they charge 326 zloty a night for this dump when you can get a much better five-star hotel and better customer service in bigger cities. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

The rooms are new, clean and spacious, and the location is good, about a 10-minute walk from the city center with a supermarket nearby. Front desk staff were helpful. There’s no fitness center or sauna. The WiFi is painfully slow. A Skype meeting would make it hard to hear the other person. Restaurant service was poor too, with food taking more than 40 minutes, and nobody checking on guests in the breakfast area.

The room was beautiful and spacious, and it’s a wonderful place. The restaurant was very good too, and the waiter explained the dishes well.
