Hostel City Plock

The room was big enough for four, with bunk beds, and the toilet was tight but manageable. There’s a nice spiral staircase, though I didn’t get to use it. Check-in is possible at any time, and parking is along very narrow streets. The accommodation is quite good for a reasonable price, as long as you’re okay with the fact that the design isn’t modern.

The thin curtains made the room feel unpleasant, and the TV was broken. The shower leaked and clearly hadn’t been looked after. I also hadn’t been told that the bathroom was in a separate room. This was definitely below expectations.

I spent a week here as planned, and I recommend it. The staff were friendly and helpful, and both late check-in and check-out were hassle-free. It was clean, though the hotel itself could use some minor renovations. The room was spacious and had its own bathroom. I especially liked that pets are welcome and Wi-Fi is available. In a beautiful, green, quiet neighborhood, the hotel also has a shared kitchen with all the essentials, including a kettle, refrigerator, coffee machine, stove, and dishes. Biedronka supermarket is just a two-minute walk away.

The air conditioner wasn’t working, and I reported it in the evening. The cameras are everywhere, literally, which felt strange, though I can understand they must have been installed for some reason. Still, I recommend the place. Cleanliness was what mattered most to me, and that was taken care of. The price also matched the conditions. The kitchen was great, with basic things provided so we didn’t have to bring anything, plus a fridge and microwave. We had good contact with the hotel, and Biedronka is close by.
