Dwór Carski

The room was lovely and had everything we needed, and the staff were attentive and very professional. Best part for me was the restaurant, the food was delicious. A real gem, and I'd recommend it.

The breakfasts and restaurant food are delicious, and the hotel has a lot of history worth discovering. Mr. Michał, the owner, knows it well and shares it with real enthusiasm.

The room floor slopes, there are no outlets, and the building badly needs renovation or at least a refresh. In early September it was freezing, with no bathroom heating until we complained and oil heaters were brought in at night. The tap water was lukewarm, and towels wouldn't dry without heat. There was no on-site staff to check in or replenish toilet paper or replace towels while guests were out. There's no air conditioning either, which would have helped us, and in summer that must be a disaster. Don't be fooled by the little hotel's 4-star rating. It has one, but the nearby Hotel Mościcki, which owns Dwór Tsarski (Car Manor), is ungraded, or fortunately so. DESTINATION

Apartment No. 9, meant for three people, is worn out and needs renovation. Plaster was coming off the walls, and the switches, floor, and walls were dirty. We also found cobwebs and grime behind the wardrobe. We were there for one night. After I raised these issues, the staff knocked a little off the price. Breakfast at Hotel Mościcki was okay.
