The apartment itself was clean and well maintained, with lovely views and plenty of convenient parking. We found some of the practical details lacking: waste was sorted in buckets rather than bags, there were no dishwasher tablets, and the bathroom had only one small bar of soap for our whole stay. It ran out quickly and wasn't replaced, so we bought more. In winter, there can be a drafty smell in the large room facing the big window. A note for anyone visiting friends who are staying on, even if you've booked two apartments: the 10:00 AM check-out is taken seriously. We left our room at 10:00 AM and put our luggage in the car, then stopped by our friends' apartment for a coffee before heading out. They had booked another four days. At 10:30 AM, the owner knocked on their door, not ours, and politely but firmly asked us, as "unregistered" guests, to leave that apartment too. We understand that this follows the rules, but it felt unpleasant and unwelcoming. The initial contact had been very polite, which made the change in tone at departure stand out. We also missed a usual goodbye, something like "How was your stay?" or "Have a nice trip." Instead, we were simply told to leave the property, which came across as formal and lacking a personal connection with guests. We hope this was a one-time "bad moment" in guest service, and wish you luck managing the property. Even so, given our experience, we probably won't return.
