The surroundings are beautiful, quiet and secluded, and I hope I can make time to return when the weather is warmer this year. I stayed with my son in a clean two-room cottage, with fresh-smelling bedding. The owner was very kind, and communication was excellent from booking right through to departure. We hope to come back to Słodka Gruszka soon. We felt truly wonderful there. The village of Kopaniec is picturesque and atmospheric, set on the slopes of Kozia Szyja Mountain. We stayed in one of the two apartments in a separate cottage just above the hosts' house. It was cozy and well equipped, with everything we needed, and the desk was a useful extra. There is plenty of well-kept space around the cottage, with quiet corners to enjoy on your own. The animals roaming freely around the property add a special charm. Joanna's breakfasts were delicious, with something interesting each time, and the coffee with its secret ingredient was lovely.

There was plenty for the children to enjoy, and the spacious grounds made this an idyllic place for a family stay. Our hostess was very friendly and knew a lot about local attractions and stories. We had a wonderful time, with a mix of adventure and calm, and the breakfasts were delicious.
It's been a year since our stay at Słodka Gruszka, and we still remember it fondly. The cottages are clean and up to a good standard, with enough distance between them for privacy. It's dog friendly and a great base for trips to the Jizera Mountains. The food was delicious, and we really enjoyed chatting with the owner. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely come back.
