The location is really nice, and the showers were warm. The staff, though, made the stay much worse. We arrived to camp just before a huge storm that was on the news, with alerts going to everyone's phones. I asked if we could pitch our tent under the trees for safety, and the lady said, “I don’t care what happens to you during the storm.” We had to put the tent right in the middle of it, which was scary, though we got through it. When I asked another question, I was shouted at, and their kids messed around with our things. If we'd been made to feel welcome, it would have been a much better experience.

Friendly people run this pleasant camp close to the city centre. It's set up with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, grill, clean showers and toilets, and even a playground. A good choice for a quiet stay.

We weren't staying at the campsite, but they kindly helped us with a technical problem on the electric bike I had hired. It had a loose wire, and after their hospitable help it worked for the rest of our route without further trouble. Thanks so much!

It's a short walk to the sea, and the campsite is well set up for visitors. Very clean too. There was always soap and toilet paper in the bathrooms, and the kitchen had washing-up liquid and matches. I travelled by bus, so I can't comment on the rooms, though I can imagine they take the same care to keep guests happy. I recommend it. For me, this is a five-plus-star campsite.
