Myn Jacka Hotel & Spa

The location made it easy for us to get around to different places in southern Poland, and we'll definitely return. We spent ten wonderful nights here, enjoying the food from breakfast through lunch and dinner. The kitchen did a fantastic job. We were pleasantly surprised by the local beers, and especially by the wine. We liked it so much that we went to visit the vineyard ourselves. The spa was cozy, well cared for, and had plenty of treatments. I would have liked a small gym too.

We had the family room, which was clean and spacious, and all the employees were pleasant. The pool and sauna area was good, with a big jacuzzi where several small groups could fit without disturbing one another. There's also a tiny pool suited to children aged 0-3. The kids' playroom is on the small side and could use more in it, but seemed enough for a few days. There are bowling, pool, and table football too. Breakfast was a Swedish buffet included in the price, with a variety I liked. I just missed having chocolate or peanut cream for the pancakes. Dinner was a buffet as well. The dishes were simple, but everything I tried tasted very good. I only wished there were some drinks besides water. Dinner cost 90 zł per person. The bar has lots of cocktails, bottled beers, and more, at reasonable prices.

The restaurant food was very good and the service was good too. Mrs. Barbara deserves a special mention: her wine knowledge was phenomenal, and she spoke a foreign language with impressive ease. People like her are what make a place feel high standard. We were impressed by the decor, and although the hotel is large, it feels cozy. The SPA zone was great 🙂 We'll definitely come back!!
