Hostel Fabryka

The receptionists greeted us warmly. Music can be bothersome sometimes, but they sell earplugs, so that helps. The beds were clean, though only a 6/10 for comfort. No towel or soap for the showers. I stayed one night, 3/5.

Overpriced and pretentious. A little weird-looking guy in Harry Potter glasses and a black turtleneck charged me almost 5€ for a small coffee. No wonder the place was empty. Good luck!

The beds were good, basic wooden IKEA ones, and comfortable. The room was good too, and breakfast was a plus, though it wasn’t included in the price. Otherwise, the hostel itself was okay. But there was a hole at the entrance, at the bottom of the stairs before reception, and I fell there and twisted my ankle. My first trip to Warsaw ended with an ER visit, then two weeks of sick leave on crutches. Later, I discussed it separately with the manager, but the hostel offered neither a partial refund nor any compensation for the ruined trip. We were above a music club, so we had to choose between loud music and a hot room. Neither helped us sleep. The neighborhood felt awful, and going out at night didn’t seem like a good idea. The unisex bathroom was a hygiene disaster, with a moldy smell, black goo between tiles, and a slimy shower. If you’ve got good health insurance, recover quickly from accidents, and don’t care about hygiene, loud music, a hot room, or compensation if something happens, then this place is great. Otherwise, I highly recommend finding somewhere else.

The staff were nice, and you can buy drinks at reception. My room was comfortable and nicely decorated, with way more space than I expected. The area wasn't ideal, though. They don't serve food, and there aren't many places nearby to eat.
