Hotel Jasna

I’d rate it about 2.5. The only real plus was the price. The rooms look completely different from the pictures, and nowhere did it say we’d be sharing with five other guys. It might be okay if you get lucky. Our roommate drank four liters of beer in one sitting, and in the morning I could hear the click of a beer.

The hostel is in good condition, but the people staying there leave it dirty and disorganized. Nobody cleans the shared bathrooms, kitchen, or common areas. When we arrived, there were people in our bed, and it seemed like everyone slept wherever they wanted. I understand it isn’t a hotel, but cleanliness matters anywhere.

A disaster. The place was shabby, and a group of drunk people took my room by exploiting the self check-in. I had to leave because I was outnumbered by his drunk friends. They didn’t even respond to my complaint afterward. Do not use this hostel, there’s absolutely no security!

The staff are really friendly, speak English, and the cleaning lady is pleasant and works hard. The beds are very, very noisy, though. If you don’t open the window now and then, the room gets an awkward smell. The toilet seemed clean and was very basic. How the kitchen is depends on when you go, because of the residents. For the price, I’d say it’s worth it. I was lucky not to have roommates.
