A drunk person tried to break into my room on my last day. I couldn’t reach reception because the room phone didn’t have a direct line. I shouted for help for a few minutes and no one reacted. The person eventually went away, and I was able to leave. I’ll never come back. The room itself was unpleasant: the windows were drafty, the mattress was the most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept on, and it smelled of cigarettes, as if a smoker had stayed there before. Lights in the hallway weren’t working, and there were dirt marks on the floor, ceiling, and walls. The place needs refurbishment and better security. The poor quality isn’t justified by the price.

For a three-star hotel, it was good. Our room was clean and tidy, and the staff were helpful. You can leave your luggage if you need to. The only difficulty was the location: it’s not in the centre or old town, but the tram stop is a seven-minute walk away, and the ride into the centre takes about 15 minutes.

Room 210 was old and tired, and the poor cleanliness was obvious. The pillows and blankets were shabby, yellow-stained, and disgusting. The carpet and chairs were stained too, the outlets were terrible, and the shower doors were broken. The room reeked of junk. Nobody came to take out the garbage during our four-day stay. The little cosmetic set for two people for four days was shameful: two soaps, two shampoos, two shower gels, and two toile rolls. The restaurant was dirty, with crumbs and rubbish on the floor and chairs. Breakfast cost PLN 20 and could have been better. The main options were scrambled eggs, eggs, and sausages, with no buns, fruit, vegetables, or yogurt. When I checked in, the system stopped working and I was kept in the corridor for about 50 minutes. I was hungry and couldn’t use the restroom because it was locked. The staff smiled and kept saying it would be another five minutes, then another five minutes. We only got our rooms after another guest started firmly complaining. The employees didn’t seem focused on customer service.

The hotel has good public transport connections, with a tram stop nearby. It isn’t really close to the Centrum, despite what several websites say. Average overall.
