Apartament Gerlach House & Spa z Sauną Zakopane

I stayed here first in May 2018, then again in September 2024. The handcrafted wooden finishes in the highlander style are expensive, but look fantastic. The apartment is clean, well maintained, and luxuriously furnished, and the sauna is excellent. Some appliances, including the dishwasher, and some kitchen cabinets could use a refresh, but it still gets a five from me. I highly recommend it and would happily return.

It’s comfortable, clean, convenient, and fully equipped. The rooms stay warm, the windows seal well, and nothing disturbed our sleep. Great trails to Giewont and Czerwone Wierchy are very close, with good restaurants nearby in Kościelisko. Shops and bus stops are a five-minute walk away, and the staff are friendly. The only downside is having no elevator, with the apartment on the fourth floor. I’d gladly return.

The fantastic location and the apartment’s spacious feel, design, and atmosphere impressed us most. Everything we needed was right there. Highly recommended.

The service was a bright spot, about four stars, but the apartment itself was only two-star clean. There’s no elevator, and the area is much more built-up than the listing made it seem.
