The room was the highlight of our four-day stay: cozy, beautifully designed, and even smelled really nice. The owner greeted us warmly, showed us around, and offered to give us a general introduction to Zakopane. The apartment is quite far from the city center and the bus and train stations, though that wasn't a major issue for us. For the price, it was more than we could've asked for. If walking isn't your thing, Radio Taxi was great, easy to reach, and charged a reasonable 30-50 zloty.

For three nights of hiking in the tatras, this small place worked well. I really liked the mountain view from the balcony and the layout, with the sleeping area upstairs and a small room, kitchen, and toilet downstairs.
