The hosts are really friendly, and the cottage has everything guests need. Inside, there's a living room with a kitchenette, three bedrooms, and two bathrooms. In winter, the fireplace is a cozy place to warm up; during the rest of the year, the terrace looks out over the Tatra Mountains. The location gives you some distance from Zakopane's busy tourist center, but it's still close enough to reach town and the mountain trail starting points easily. Harenda slope is nearby for winter sports. A fantastic place, and I'd recommend it any time of year.

The cottage works well for two families with children, with flexible rooms and two large bathrooms. We've visited twice, once in summer and once in winter, and would recommend it for a family trip in any season. It's well equipped, peaceful, and still near Zakopane's attractions. We could all share breakfast in the kitchen and living room, where the table seats at least eight, with a lovely Tatra Mountains view outside. Harenda slope is close by for winter fun. In summer, a shuttle bus gets you anywhere in 15 minutes, and a catering service can bring dinner to the door. The friendly owners are always glad to help or give advice if anything comes up. The terrace is good for grilling, and the mountain views are breathtaking. Stary Młyn Cottage has a special atmosphere, with modern decor that still nods to Zakopane style. It's lovely, with useful amenities like a dishwasher and two bathrooms. The owners are incredibly kind, too. Just being there lifts your mood. An unforgettable place.
