Gorski Resort & Saunarium

My mum was really unhappy with her recent stay here, and our family won’t book this place either. The first room she got hadn’t been prepared: it was messy, the bed wasn’t made, and there were dirty cups on the tables. She was moved to another room, but it was freezing and the radiator didn’t work. There wasn’t anyone around she could ask about the heating. Hot water from the taps also took quite a while to come through. There were lots of towels on the beds, which felt unnecessary. Despite the good reviews, the stay was a real disappointment, and she won’t return.

We’ve stayed here several times with family and friends, trying different apartments for things like a private jacuzzi, SPA, balcony, and SAUNA. Every visit has left us feeling relaxed and happy. The apartments are neat and clean, with kitchen facilities, and the parking space tied to each apartment gives a private parking feel. The mountain and river views, along with the children’s play area, made our stays especially enjoyable. We’ve appreciated how friendly and helpful the staff are, and how clearly they answer questions. They also approved our requests for early check-in and late check-out. The location is handy for the train station and bus stop, and nearby shops include Żabka, Lewiatan, and Delikatesy. We enjoyed having morning coffee across the riverbank of Biały Dunajec, watching a favorite movie in the jacuzzi, and the extra flavor from the wood-fired grill. There’s also table tennis in the covered "Dom" with a mountain view, and a balcony where we could relax overlooking the Mountain and Biały Dunajec. Thanks for making it such a pleasant place. We’d like to see you again soon.

It’s an apartment, not a hotel, in a quiet spot with a nice view, about 10 minutes by car from Zakopane City center. The bed is high quality, and the sauna is clean and fine. I chose this place for the sauna, but it doesn’t open until 8 pm, there’s no pool, and it wasn’t as fancy as I’d expected. The advertising photo gave a very different impression. For the price, the kitchen setup is poor: just a small sink, microwave, mini fridge, dishes, and cutlery.

I’d recommend it, we had a really great time there. The only thing that felt odd was having to cross the road from the hotel to the saunarium half-naked. Still, it was a great stay.
