Hotel Boruta

The way the receptionist handled our late evening gathering really stood out. As 11 PM approached, she didn’t just remind us about quiet hours. She kindly invited us to carry on in the restaurant so we wouldn’t disturb other guests, and even brought extra glasses. The lounge by the rooms was also a lovely place for our group to get together. We were 14 people on a corporate ski trip in February 2025, and Hotel Boruta made the whole stay comfortable and memorable. When our group size changed, they adjusted the room arrangements without fuss. Communication was quick, professional, and accommodating from the start, and booking was smooth. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and comfortable after a day on the slopes. Breakfast was a daily highlight, with a creative, varied selection of delicious dishes. The staff were kind and made sure we had what we needed. The hotel is also an easy walk from the centre of Zakopane. We highly recommend Hotel Boruta and would gladly return.

A terrific breakfast and a 12 noon checkout were great perks. The staff were helpful, the heating worked well, and it was convenient for the station, centre, and mountain. The room had a balcony, a clean toilet, and a good shower.

The staff made this a good stay despite quite a few drawbacks. They were friendly and efficient, and actually smiled and greeted me, which I rarely find in other hotels I’ve stayed at in Poland. The location was nice, and the rooms are huge compared with newer hotels. The building is old and looks it. There’s no elevator, so you have to haul your suitcase upstairs. The bathroom is big but has nowhere to set anything, not even a shelf. There’s no AC, and with the window open I could hear drunk people partying late at another hotel. There’s no fridge in the room either, which would be nice to have. Breakfast was really below what I expected. Everything was cold, and there weren’t even scrambled eggs.

I loved being just a few minutes’ walk from the centre, and the view was beautiful. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, the people very kind, and breakfast was good. Our room at the end of the corridor was a little cold, but the blanket was warm enough for us to sleep well.
